Having installed the Lingam of Lord Shiva and worshipping it with due solemnity, Sri Ram spoke, “No one else is so dear to Me as Shiva. An enemy of Shiva although he calls himself a devotee of Mine, can never attain Me. He who is opposed to Shankar and yet aspires for My devotion is dull witted and unintelligent”. 

* Here the Lord only uses strong language to uncover His Love for Shivji. Both are beloved by the other and here the greatness of Sri Ram’s devotion to Shiv is unveiled. It is also revealed that devotion to Lord Ram/Krsna is fruitless for those who do not accept Lord Shiva.
